I remember getting into an elevator recently with my son and daughter with nicely dressed man. There was that awkwardness of not looking at each other for a moment. Suddenly my daughter looked at him and smiled and did the “jump” in the elevator that kids like to do. He smiled and told her he liked to do that as a kid. We are born introverts or extroverts, but I don’t think the issues arrive until we get older and start listening to the voices around us telling us how we should be and how we should live.
