I had a meeting cancelled this morning, and it was the best thing ever! I was able to get a lot of real work done.
I’ve heard it said that, as introverts, we’re often happy when plans get cancelled. Why is this? Is it because we’re apprehensive about that social situation in which we have to come up with endless small talk with strangers? Or do we know that our energy is going to be zapped fast? If we’re dreading it so much, why do we agree in the first place?
I have no answers here… just an observation. But looking forward to my next cancelled appointment!
