We become what we think about.
–Earl Nightingale
I have always been fascinated with the reasons why some people are successful and some people are not. I believe that much of our success comes in the thoughts that we think.
Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.
–Henry Ford
Throughout my life I have been surrounded by both positive and negative messages. There have been plenty of times when I have given in to the negative messages of “you are not good enough,” “you can’t do that,” or “why even try?” I am in a place in my life now where I don’t listen to these negative messages and chose to believe that I can accomplish all that I set out to. One way that I do this is read positive quotes everyday — whether on twitter, facebook, or somewhere else online. Here are a few more of my favorites:
Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.
—Aristotle
An unexamined life is not worth living.
–Socrates
Your strongest life is built through a continuous practice of designing moment by moment.
—Marcus Buckingham
Introversion, when embraced, is a wellspring of riches. It took me years to acknowledge this simple reality, to claim my home, and to value all it offers.
—Laurie Helgoe
Everyone whether introverted or extroverted, has unique gifts and strengths that need to be understood, nurtured, supported, and celebrated.
—[email protected]
I had a hard time picking just these few as favorites. I post a quote daily on the home page as well as on facebook & twitter – so you can get positive daily quotes by stopping by the site or following us on either of our social media pages. I have also put together a list on twitter of posters who tweet influential and inspirational thoughts on introversion regularly – you can follow that list here.
Fill your mind with positive messages and positive things will happen.
